In Hawaii, “ahi” refers to two species, the yellowfin tuna and the bigeye tuna. It receives it's name from the region it was caught. Suggested Preparations: Seared, Grilled, Broiled and Sautéed. Also excellent for grilling and in seared or “blackened” fish preparations. Its mild flavor and firm texture. They come frozen in 5 LB loins.
